SHEFIT to Donate over 1,000 New Sports Bras & Leggings to Hurley Medical Center Breast Cancer Navigation Program
Flint, MI — Tuesday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m., Hurley Medical Center will welcome SHEFIT, the Michigan-founded, nationally known athletic apparel company featured on Shark Tank, for a special donation presentation benefiting Hurley’s Breast Cancer Navigation Program.
SHEFIT will make an extremely generous donation of over 1,000 new sports bras & leggings to support women receiving care through the program. The Breast Cancer Navigation Program ensures patients have the information, resources, and compassionate support they need to make their breast cancer treatment experience as positive and successful as possible.
To help patients navigate the often complicated and stressful world of breast cancer, Hurley provides a Breast Health Nurse Navigator—a caring, highly trained registered nurse who supports patients from diagnosis through treatment, breast reconstruction, and long-term follow-up. Hurley Medical Center is the first medical center in Genesee County to offer a Breast Health Nurse Navigator.
Available for interviews:
● Teresa Tafoya, Director of Wholesale and Philanthropy, SHEFIT
● Jennifer Webb, Breast Health Nurse Navigator, Hurley Medical Center
Media are invited to attend and cover this meaningful partnership highlighting community support, innovation in patient-centered care, and improved outcomes for women facing breast cancer.
