## Company Description
**Recovery Alliance Project (RAP)** is a community-based nonprofit recovery community organization dedicated to strengthening recovery, expanding access to peer support, and creating meaningful pathways for individuals and families impacted by substance use. Based in Genesee County, Michigan, RAP provides recovery coaching, peer-led support groups, advocacy, overdose prevention and harm reduction education, reentry support, community outreach, and connections to essential resources.
RAP focuses on meeting people where they are and reducing the barriers that can make long-term recovery difficult, including stigma, housing instability, unemployment, transportation challenges, justice-system involvement, and limited access to supportive services. Through lived experience, community partnerships, and recovery-centered programming, RAP helps individuals build the relationships, resources, and support systems needed to sustain recovery and improve overall well-being.
