DESCRIPTION:The Shard Financial Women\, Wine\, Fashion & Finance Fundraiser benefits the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan's Back Pack Program. In our sold-out inaugural event we raised more than $19\,000 for the program\, which provides children who are at risk of hunger with a backpack of nutritious\, kid-friendly\, non-perishable food items. The backpack contains two breakfasts\, lunches\, dinners and snacks\, each weekend throughout the year. Without the program\, many children in our area would have no food for the weekend. For just $100\, you can feed a child on the weekends for an entire school year.
