Cheese Monger - Support Staff
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our team. Must be at least 18 years old.
This role blends production and sales. During the week, you’ll focus on cutting, wrapping,
labeling, and properly caring for a wide variety of cheeses. On Sundays, you’ll represent our
shop at a local outdoor farmers market — setting up the booth, selling cheese directly to
customers, and delivering knowledgeable, friendly service.
What You’ll Do:
? Cut, wrap, label, and package cheeses accurately and efficiently
? Monitor product quality and rotate inventory
? Prepare and transport product for market days
? Set up, operate, and break down our farmers' market booth
? Offer samples, guide customers through selections, and provide thoughtful
recommendations
? Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workspace
Position Details:
? Part-time position
? Schedule to start: Monday, Thursday, and Sunday
? Sunday shift is at an outdoor farmers market (working outdoors required)
? Some lifting required (up to 50 lbs)
? Reliable transportation required

? Ability to work independently and stay organized
? Food or retail experience is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person
