Shiawassee River Fest

Come join the Keepers of the Shiawassee for a day of family fun along the banks of the Shiawassee River. The event opens at 10:00 with Keepers manning the information booth, and selling Keepers gear and tickets for the kayak raffle and Rubber Ducky race. We'll get in the river for a hunt for water bugs. The kind of bugs we find tells us about the health of our river. Other activities throughout the day include music by local bands from noon 'til closing at 7:00pm, Crafters Village, food vendors, face painting, bounce house, kayak/paddle board demos, cardboard boat making and racing, and more.
